How To Make Your Minks Fit Perfectly

Once you’ve found the perfect pair of Modest Slay Minks for your eye type, the next step is customizing the band to fit your eye by cutting it down. Now sistas, although this is a fairly easy process with only 2 steps to follow, this is a HUGE must! There is nothing worse than walking around with a lash band that sticks out further than your actual eye (and YES people will notice!). But it’s all good ya’ll, because this is what I’m here for.

Here are the 2 steps to customizing your Modest Slay Minks to fit your very perfect eye :

What you’ll need:

• Modest Slay Minks

• Tweezers

• Scissors

Step 1

The quickest way to fit your lashes is to lay the lash over the upper lash line using your fingers and tweezers. Make sure to position the lash so the inner corner of the lash (shortest hairs) start where your existing lashes start. You will be cutting the outside edge (end with the longest lashes), never cut the inner side of the lashes.

Position the tip of the tweezers where you need to trim and slightly pinch the lash band with the tweezers to make a very slight indentation as a reference mark for where to cut. Make sure to measure each eye separately because it is not uncommon for one eye to be slightly wider than the other.

Step 2

To trim the false lashes, cut from the outside edge. Be conservative with your cuts and just cut little by little because you don't want to over-trim the lashes. As you trim, be sure to test the fit of the lashes by laying them across the tops of your existing lashes.
